Where is Granny's House?

Granny's House is located in two adjoining public housing units in the Douglass Park Housing Projects near downtown Columbia Missouri, just one block west of Providence Road. Our "house" is furnished simply, but our volunteers and supporters have made it a colorful, bright place to be.

Our address is 302 and 304 Trinity Place; please call (573) 442-LOVE for specific directions. We love giving tours and the Granny's House kids love having company! The children are here every weekday, including summers, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Directions:

If you are coming from I-70: Take the Providence Road exit and turn south onto Providence. Go straight through three lights; the third light will be Rogers/Worley. Take the very next right, Switzler Street. Turn left onto Trinity Place. This is a one-way street, so stay in the left lane. Granny's House is about one block up on your left. Look for the white picket fence and the Granny's House sign on the front of the brick building. You may park in the lot that is adjacent to Granny's House.

If you are coming from downtown Columbia: At the intersection of Providence and Broadway, go north on Providence past Ash and past Walnut. The very next left is Switzler Street. Turn left on Switzler; go one block to Trinity Place. Turn left at Trinity Place. This is a one-way street, so stay in the left lane. Granny's House is about a block up on your left. Park in the lot between the mailboxes and the dumpsters.
